I have a certification in Activator Technique, the foremost instrument adjusting technique in the country. Activator Methods International uses the most advanced technology to deliver quick, precise adjustments. I have done research projects using Activator on TMJ disorders as well as shoulders and knees. Rest assured that Activator adjustments are completely safe and have never been linked to any serious adverse effects since the invention of the technique and instrument in 1967.

I have also trained for many years to deliver loving manual adjustments with just the right amount of force to remove spinal misalignments without doing any damage to the joint. Full-spine adjustments are the most common chiropractic adjustments, and they are what most patients visualize when they think of chiropractors. This is also the technique that sometimes generates the "popping" or "cracking" sound. Don't worry, this is totally healthy, and if you don't like it, there are other alternatives!

I also use special tables with "drops" that was first developed and designed by Dr. Thompson. The table uses gravity to assist the doctor in delivering the adjustment while lowering the overall necessary force to move the bones! Drop tables are especially good for pregnant mothers or anyone with mobility concerns because the table stands and lowers according to the patient's need.

Extremity and Extra-Spinal Adjustments: Many patients have biomechanical problem areas outside the spine. Did you know that as many as 30% of Americans will suffer from TMJ pain at some point in their lives? I have spent extra time training in specialized techniques to assist with TMJ pain. I also use my adjusting instrument, cold laser and fascial tools to address shoulder, elbow, wrist, hip, knee and ankle concerns.
